Child Safety Standards
Our standards against child sexual abuse and exploitation.
DealerSocial prohibits child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) in all content and activity on the service, including News Feed posts, comments, profiles, photos, videos and private messages. These standards apply to every user.
Prohibited content and behavior
Users must not create, upload, share, solicit or promote child sexual abuse material (CSAM), including images, videos or computer-generated depictions of the sexual abuse or exploitation of a minor. We also prohibit grooming, sexual solicitation of minors, sexualization of children, sextortion, trafficking and any other behavior that facilitates or encourages child sexual abuse or exploitation.
Report a concern
Use Contact Us, available at the bottom of DealerSocial pages. Select Other and start your message with Child safety concern. You can also email support@thedealersocial.com with that subject. Reports can be submitted without signing in.
Include the relevant DealerSocial page or post link, username, approximate date and a brief description so we can locate the concern. For a private message, identify the conversation and approximate time. Do not download, copy, attach or forward suspected child sexual abuse material. The contact form does not accept attachments.
If a child is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services or law enforcement immediately. DealerSocial support is not an emergency service.
How we handle reports
DealerSocial support reviews child-safety reports and investigates the identified content or account activity. We may request additional non-explicit information to locate and assess a report. Reports are handled with care, and information is shared only as needed for review, protective action and applicable legal obligations.
When we become aware of child sexual abuse material on DealerSocial, we remove it or disable access to it and take appropriate action against the responsible accounts. Other violations of these standards may result in content removal, account restrictions, suspension or closure. Relevant records are handled and preserved as required by applicable law.
Escalation and reporting
DealerSocial reports confirmed child sexual abuse material to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) or the appropriate regional authority in accordance with applicable laws. We cooperate with lawful requests from the relevant authorities.
Members of the public can also report suspected online child sexual exploitation through NCMEC’s CyberTipline or the appropriate authority in their country.
